MCP connector

Let Claude, Cursor or another AI app read and add praise by chat.

MCP is a standard plug that lets AI apps use other software. You set it up once in your AI app, then talk to the app normally: "add a testimonial from Grace Hopper, 5 stars".

Set it up

  1. Open MCP connector in the dashboard sidebar.
  2. Pick your app and create a key. Read only keys cannot change anything; Read and write keys can.
  3. Paste the generated setup into your app. The page shows Connected when it sees the first request.

For Claude Code the setup looks like this:

claude mcp add --transport http kikopraise https://kikopraise.com/api/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"

What it can do

ToolAccessWhat it does
get_workspace_summaryreadCounts by status, average rating, top tags
list_testimonialsreadFilter by status, type, tag, minimum rating, search
get_testimonialreadOne testimonial
list_tags, list_forms, list_widgetsreadTags, forms with links, widgets with links
create_testimonialwriteAdds a text testimonial, Pending by default
update_testimonialwriteEdit author, company, content, rating, tags
set_testimonial_statuswritePending, Approved or Rejected

There is deliberately no delete tool: an AI deleting customer praise is hard to undo.

Limits

Claude.ai in the browser cannot connect yet, because that needs a public https address and OAuth. Local apps such as Claude Code, Cursor and Claude Desktop work.
