Collect testimonials on WhatsApp
Paste a personal link into the chat. Your customer writes a few lines or records a short video, and you see the moment they open it and reply.
How it works in WhatsApp
- 1
Create a request link
In the dashboard, choose Request testimonial and make a link only. Each customer gets their own link.
- 2
Paste it into the chat
Send it with a short, personal message. The request shows Opened as soon as they tap it, and Completed when they reply.
- 3
Approve and publish
Their reply arrives as Pending. Approve it, and it shows in your widgets and on your Wall of Love.
Why a link beats screenshots of chats
Words you can actually use
Instead of cropping a chat screenshot, you get clean text or video with a name, a role and permission, ready for your website.
No WhatsApp Business API
KikoPraise never connects to your WhatsApp account and never reads your messages. You send the link the way you send any link.
See who to remind
Requests show Not opened, Opened and Completed, so a gentle nudge goes only to the people who haven't answered.
Works in every chat app
The same link works in Messenger, Instagram DMs, Telegram, SMS or a support reply.
Questions about this
How do I ask for a testimonial on WhatsApp?
Keep it short and personal: thank them, say what you'd like, and include the link. For example: "Hi Maya, would you share a few words about your first month? It takes a minute:" followed by your KikoPraise link.
Do I need the WhatsApp Business API?
No. You paste the link into a normal WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business chat. KikoPraise tracks the link, not the chat.
Can I tell if a customer opened my testimonial request?
Yes. Each personal link shows Not opened, Opened or Completed on the Requests page, and links to the testimonial they left.
Can customers send a video testimonial from WhatsApp?
Yes. The link opens in their phone's browser, where they can record a short video or type their answer, if your form asks for video.
Can I use a screenshot of a WhatsApp message as a testimonial?
You can add it by hand, but you need the customer's permission to publish it. Sending a request link gets you their words and their consent in one step.
